Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting was held in a special regime in compliance with all necessary personal protection measures. The meeting was attended by the Governor, Chelyabinsk region, Alexey Teksler, and the Chairman of Chelyabinsk region commission for elections, Sergey Obertas. Vladimir Myakush was chosen as the Legislative Assembly Chairman of Chelyabinsk region, and Oleg Tsepkin was also chosen as the Federation Council Senator from the Legislative Assembly of the region unanimously. At the Parliament session its structure was approved. In the seventh convocation the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Chelyabinsk region would have the first deputy and six deputies. Chairmen of the committees were approved. There would be ten of them in the new convocation. And the number of members was also established.

«The Party of Pensioners has started its work in the Legislative Assembly. Our deputies work in two committees: one of them is for social politics and the other is for budget and taxes. It allows us to defend interests of citizens of our region on the legislative level and create conditions for medicine of good quality and for everyone.» noted Stepan Firstov, who is a Head of Chelyabinsk branch of the Russian Party of Pensioners for social justice.

Remind you, that following the results of the elections of 13 September 2020, the Russian Party of Pensioners for social justice in the Legislative Assembly was represented by two deputies, who were Stepan Firstov and Vladimir Vladimirskiy. The Russian Party of Pensioners for social justice got 5,7% of votes.
