In Chelyabinsk the regional branch of the political party Russian Party of Pensioners for Social Justice has held a press conference on important issues.
1 October in Chelyabinsk the regional branch of the political party Russian Party of Pensioners for Social Justice has done press-conference dedicated to two events: 30th International Day for the Elderly celebrated worldwide and representation of the Party in the Legislative Assembly for the first time.
Based on the results of the past elections the Russian Party of Pensioners for Social Justice entered into deputies’ body of the Legislative Assembly of Chelyabinsk region, having received two mandates. In the seventh convocation of the Legislative Assembly of the Party of Pensioners in the region's Parliament as a Board Chairman of the regional branch of the Party, Stepan Firstov, and a Chairman of the regional branch of the party, Vladimir Vladimirskiy started their work.
Proposed for discussion at the press-conference topics touched important challenges, for example, availability of lively-essential medicines and technical products, its deficit usually has an impact on the citizens of the region; necessity to build geriatric center in Chelyabinsk; employment for people over 55 years old; shifting out of the concept «pension for age» to «pension for work experience»; consequences of the pension reform; future for those, who will be retired in 10-30 years as social guarantees are reduced significantly; environmental situation in the South Ural and what is being done in this regard.
