Regular session of Sages Club initiated under the Russian Party of Pensioners for Social Justice took place on the 4th February 2021 and was devoted to the matters of overcoming devastating consequences of medical industry optimisation as well as searching for perspective modernization ways to improve the Health of the country in circumstances of epidemic crisis.

Participants of the meeting were leading specialists of medicine of the country: academician of the Russian Academy of Science, honoured doctor of the Russian Federation, Prof., M.D. Vladimir Solodkiy; academician of the Russian Academy of Science, honoured doctor of the Russian Federation, honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Prof., M.D. Sergey Puzin; corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Science, honoured doctor of the Russian Federation, Prof., M.D. Fedor Antonenko; M.D. Guzel Ulumbekova; Prof., M.D. Nadezhda Runikhina; Executive Vice-President (Secretary General) of the All-Russian public organization «Society of Doctors of Russia», Prof., M.D. Eric Prazdnikov; Prof., M.D. Andrey Gurov and an Associate Member of the World Medical Association (WMA), Presidium Member of the All-Russian Public Organization «Society of Doctors of Russia», Central Council Secretary of the Party of Pensioners on Health issues, Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Chelyabinsk region Stepan Firstov.

Summing up, authoritative experts supported the demand of the Party of Pensioners to rely on opinion of the medical community when making management decisions, concerning the Health system of the country. Formulae and calculations of representatives of liberal economic schools, adopted by unfortunate managers, almost led to disastrous consequences. Citizens of our country should not be hostages of accountants from medicine. Today, fundamentally different solutions are in demand, that can restore and increase the potential of advanced medicine of Russia.
