To the leader of the faction of the Party of Pensioners in the regional Parliament Stepan Firstov an appointment from the citizen of the Russkaya Techa village was sent. The applicant appealed on behalf of more than 100 citizens of Russkaya Techa and Brodokolmak villages of Krasnoarmeysky district of Chelyabinsk region. Citizens have not been able to obtain recognition of themselves and their loved ones as victims of radiation exposure as a result of an accident at the Mayak industrial association. Numerous appeals to various authorities including the court did not bring any result. The applicant asked for help in solving this long-standing problem and restoring violated justice.

«The situation is extremely difficult and requires detailed analysis. First and foremost, let us prepare a request to the Ministry of Social Relations of Chelyabinsk region. If social justice has been violated, it must be restored and citizens must be provided with proper certificates and measures of social support», commented Stepan Firstov.
