April 9, 2021 at 10 a.m. to 15 p.m. in the Sverdlovsk Regional Univeral Scientific Library named after V. G. Belinsky (15 Belinsky, Ekaterinburg) the «INTERREGIONAL FORUM MEDICINE IS FOR EVERYONE» will be held. The main topic of the forum is «Social and medical well-being of the elderly generation in the Russian Federation».

The Forum is organized by the Russian Party of Pensioners for Social Justice jointly with the All-Russian public organization Society of doctors of Russia. Cooperation agreement was signed earlier in March 2021.

Interregional Forum become a platform comprising representatives of the Party and medical professionals. They are planning to discuss development and state of the Health care system as a whole, difficulties and challenges, that medical organizations had faced during the pandemic period of a new coronavirus infection.

The rapid spread of the deadly virus has not only changed habitual way of life, but also revealed a number of urgent challenges in the Health care system of the country. These challenges are acute and society need to overcome them as soon as possible. These include personnel shortage of doctors, controversial and ambiguous personnel appointments, professional burnout and disunity of professional community.

Special attention is devoted to the challenges of quality and accessibility of medical care for elderly people and issues of their social support as representatives of the most vulnerable social group. Along with the medical support for people of old age there is a requirement for social support, social welfare, social benefits and programs.

Representatives of the region will change experience, share the best practices in complex tasks solving of Health care system functioning and social well-fare for citizens.
