The WMA Scientific Session on physicians in the organ donation and transplantation process: ethical challenges is to be held on September 17 in Cordoba, Spain in an online mode. The leading world experts discuss current donation issues as a part of medical services and role of the professional community in preventing trading of human organ activities. Being a Presidium Member of the Society of doctors of Russia, an Associate Member of the World Medical Association Stepan Firstov is a participant of the Session.

The Session is to be opened by the WMA President David Barbe. The Scientific Session presents representatives of the World Health Organization and the Council of Europe as well as the medical associations from Spain, Sweden, the UK, the USA, Australia, India and Uruguay.
