Associate Member of the World Medical Association, Presidium Member of the Society of Doctors of Russia Stepan Firstov joins the 75th World Health Assembly WHO.

The event is scheduled for 22-28 May 2022. It is the first event of a large-scale after the pandemic COVID-19, which unites all prominent representatives of medical comunity from all about the world.

WHO has shown its preparedness to overcome emergencies and its primary role during the pandemic COVID-19. «Health for peace, peace for health» is the topic of upcoming sessions reflecting the main point of discussions. Delegates express their concerns about economic situation in health system, universal health coverage, sustainable financing for the system, behavioral sciences and preparedness for future emergencies.
