A regular Session of the World Medical Association General Assembly will be held in October 16-19, 2024 in Helsinki. The event will be visited by Stepan Firstov, he is the WMA Associate Member and Presidium Member of the Russian Medical Association.

One of the main topic to be discussed at the event is «Inequity in medicine: how to overcome?» Earlier under the auspices of the World Medical Association Young Doctors will discuss current challenges within the medical field. And the WMA GA will be concluded by the meeting «Women in medicine». Moreover, together with his colleagues from other countries Stepan Firstov is going to actively participate at the Forum's discussion on environmental issues and briefing session on human resources in the Health.
