As the medical facility reported on Tuesday, Jeff had a replacement for an injured joint.
“The joint replacement surgery lasted 45 minutes. The patient was not ordinary one. Numerous injuries, more than 90 fights in the professional ring - all this could not but affect the state of the body, and it surely needed to be taken into account. But the surgery is finished, and Jeff is recovering, the rehabilitation process has begun,” - said athlete’s physician Andrey Filippov.
In the Southern Urals of Russia, the legendary fighter, two-time world champion in wrestling and world champion in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, is not the first time. He has twice visited Chelyabinsk as a guest of the international MMA tournament, held a seminar for young athletes. In the past year, many have noticed that Jeff limps a little.
