10 June, his 90th anniversary is celebrated by a legendary doctor, patriarch of russian medicine, Evgeniy Ivanovich Chazov. One of the first members of the delegation from the Presidium of the All-Russian public organization «Society of doctors in Russia», Nobel peace prize laureate, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, professor, Yevgeny Ivanovich Chazov, is honored to congratulate the member of the presidium of the All-Russian public organization «Society of doctors in Russia», associate member of the World Medical Association, Stepan Vladimirovich Firstov.

I. Chazov is a recognized progenitor of a modern russian cardiology and creator of an effective Health system. For long years he has been heading the All-Union cardiology research centre Academy of Medical Sciences of USSR, but in 1987-1990 he works as a Minister of health of USSR.

A few days earlier, russian prime-minister, Dmitriy Medvedev, signs an order to decorate the honored director of Federal State Budgetary Institution «National medicine research centre of cardiology», Evgeniy Chazov, with medal I of Stolypin for a great contribution to the development of Health, medical science, long-term and ongoing work.

Considering long career of E.I. Chazov, there are many saved lives. There is a well-known case, when an instant reaction of the cardiologist brings back to life a journalist feeling bad right at the press-conference after the ceremony of the Nobel prize. In 1970-1980 E. I. Chazov and his american colleague, Bernard Lown, initiate creation of an international movement «Doctors of the world for nuclear war prevention» and became its co-chairs. The organization is rewarded with the Nobel peace prize in 1985, but a year before rewarded with UNESCO prize. In 1961 E. I. Chazov creates a medicine drug dissolving blood clots, he tests it on himself, and later, uses it as treatment method for the legendary marshal, Ggeorgi Zhukov, who has thromboembolism in brain. E. I. Chazov creates the fourth main administration office of the Ministry of USSR, and is a personal doctor of the leaders of party and country as well as attending physician of many leaders of foreign countries. He is considered to be the creator of the national, effective Health system for everyone.

Nowadays, Evgeniy Ivanovich Chazov is actively engaged in a public work as an honorable president of the All-Russian public organization «Society of doctors of Russia.» The participants of the interregional Forum «Medicine is for everyone», which is held on 7-8 June, Chelyabinsk hear a greeting speech from E.I. Chazov.
