Regional branch Chairman of the Party of Pensioners for Social Justice, Stepan Firstov, participated at the council meeting of political parties under the plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Ural Federal district. The meeting was held in video conference mode. The main meeting issues were election results on September 13, 2020 and the Party involvement in political system modernization considering amendments made in the Constitution of the Russian Federation.

The meeting was opened by the plenipotentiary of the President, Nikolay Tsukanov. Summing up the results of the single election day, the envoy noted the fact that there were representatives of the Russian Party of Pensioners for Social Justice in the legislative bodies of the South Ural and Trans-Urals. In his opinion, new political forces would make themselves known in the State Duma.

Speakers of the meeting were Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Head of the Ural Interregional coordination council of the political party «Edinaya Rossiya», Ivan Kvitka; the Governor of Chelyabinsk region, Secretary of Chelyabinsk regional branch of political party «Edinaya Rossiya», Alexey Teksler; Chairman of the Board of Chelyabinsk regional branch of the political party «Spravedlivaya Rossiya», Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Valeriy Gartung; the first Secretary of Kurgan regional branch of the Communist party, Viktor Zyryanov; Board Chairman regional branch of the political party «Spravedlivaya Rossiya» in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous district, Maxim Lazarev; the Deputy of Legislative Assembly of Chelyabinsk region from the political party «Green alternative», Mikhail Makhov; Secretary of Sverdlovsk regional branch of the political party «Edinaya Rossiya», the Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Sverdlovsk oblast, Victor Shepty; Coordinator of Khanty-Mansiysk regional branch of «LDPR», Evgenie Dannikov; Secretary of Tyumen regional branch of the party» Edinaya Rossiya» and the Deputy of the regional Duma of Tyumen, Andrey Artukhov.

Remind you, that the Party of pensioners for social justice for the first time in history was included in the Legislative Assembly of Chelyabinsk region. Thanks to the support of voters, the Party was represented by two deputies at once: Stepan Firstov and Vladimir Vladimirskiy. 13 September more that 50 thousand people voted for the Party.
