Following the election results to the Legislative Assembly of Chelyabinsk Region on September 13, 2020, the interests of citizens will be represented by deputies from six parties.

The election of deputies to the Legislative Assembly of Chelyabinsk region on the seventh convocation drew 881,425 voters. Turnout was 33,90%. Renewed membership of the region's Parliament considering interests of citizens is represented now by deputies of six political parties: four are parliamentary and two are with small number of members.

«Edinaya Rossiya» with 42,59% of votes has the majority of seats. The second is «Spravedlivaya Rossiya» with 14,79%, and the third is «Communist Party», and the fourth is «LDPR» with 11,31%.

An important election result showed more deputies from two new political parties to the Legislative Assembly that overcame 5% barrier of votes. These were «Russian Party of Pensioners for Social Justice» with 5,7% (50 100 votes) and «Zelenaya Alternativa» with 5,36% (47 059 votes). These parties are able to take part in the elections to the State Duma next year.

Small parties as «Za pravdu» (2,06%), «Partiya Rosta» (1,69%) and «Rodina» (0,71%) failed to overcome 5% threshold.

The Russian Party of Pensioners for Social Justice in the regional Parliament is represented by Politician, Social activist, Director General of the FMC clinic, Expert and Associate Member of the WMA, Consultant of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, Council Member for the regulation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, author of dozen medical projects aimed to improve current situation of Health and Universal Health coverage, dr. Stepan Firstov, and Head of the vascular surgery department of Chelyabinsk regional clinic, Chief vascular surgeon of the region, Member of the Russian society of angiologists and vascular surgeons, honored doctor of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Vladimirskiy, MD.
Stepan Firstov noted repeatedly, that the Party was sought to be represented in the government to implement ideas aimed to change life of our society to a better way. Unlike the others, it appeals not to fight poverty, but achieve economic growth and well-qualified employment. Not without a reason, the Party's motto says: «decent job — decent salaries and wages — decent pension.»

The fundamental difference between the Party of Pensioners and its political opponents is understanding of what is in demand in russian society and willingness to take responsibility for the real implementation of their proposals. After all, people united under the wing of the Party know very well what social justice is. Such concepts as collectivism and responsibility are brought up from early childhood, and they want to ensure that these concepts finally return to our lives.
