The event, organized by the Pontifical Academy for Life, is going to be on September 27-28. The long title of the Workshop is «Public health in global perspective. Pandemic, bioethics, future». A Presidium Member of the Society of doctors of Russia, an Associate Member of the World Medical Association Stepan Firstov joins the scientific discussions.

Competent scientists and practitioners analyze the experience of combating the COVID-19 pandemic, share views on solving the most current issues of working in an emergancy situation and discuss ethical values of Healthcare. The aim of the workshop according organizers is to «share experience and learn valuable lessons for a sustainable renewal of societies».

The workshop will be opened by the President of the Pontifical Academy for Life Vincenzo PAGLIA. Among the speakers there are the President of the World Medical Assocaition David Barbe (USA), 2011 Nobel Prize for Medicine Jules HOFFMANN (France), President of the National Research Council Maria Chiara CARROZZA (Italy) as well as speakers form the USA, Italy, France, India, Sweden, Dominica, Cameroon, Israel, Brazil, Mexico and Burkina Faso.
